I have a 66 with a 12V conv and an electric fuel pump. The pump is ticking whenever the ignition is on. It's a very rapid and loud tick. Is this normal or do I need to get a new pump to eliminate this?

Is it a Facet pump? They're all noisey.
If you want quiet... get a stock mechanical pump. |

i'm not sure what it is. I bought the car like that and not having a bug before I'm not sure if that is normal.
