Is there anyone out there that has a "factory" cruise control unit they would be willing to part with?
I have a (new to me) '84 Westy with a manual trans.
Thanks from the new guy,
Michael

The picture is of my inspiration. I don't have any descent shots of mine yet. Mine looks exactly like the picture only in White matching the top.
Mine is an '84 white with Design-CV wheels and 215/55-16 tires, front air dam, H&R 2" lowering springs, heavy-work shocks, Addco front and rear sway bars, SA light grill and wrap around lower grill.
It's the first (#3) Westy I've owned that handles like it's on rails. :D
I still need more power but the engine and trans will not be replaced till '07.
... in the mean time I need cruise control. Would really like to find a older AAR electric cruise control unit.
Happy Holidays all,

| I am in the process of removing mine. Coming off an 87 Westy with auto trans. What are these systems worth? Actually, never even tried it as the van is my new baby, and I am going through all the mechanicals for now, and the cruise just won't be needed. Let me know... Mike |

Mike,
Apparently there is a difference between the cruise units for automatic tans and manual. I have a manual trans thus I don't think it'll work but thank you for replying. Good luck with digging into those mechanicals.
