Since theSamba is my home page I'm clued into a new VW factoid on a daily basis - which is cool since I try to "learn something new every day."
Anyhoo, the following was posted today: Quote: VW Fact #489: At the beginning of 1960, one in four import cars sold in the U.S. was a VW; by year end, it was one in two.
Out of curiosity (or boredom being stuck here at work on Christmas Eve eve eve) I wonder who the other three were? Anyone venture to take a stab at it?
I've going to say Mercedes Benz, Renault (Dauphine) and Austin-Healey (100's & Bugeyes).
Maybe Everett will give us the answer after we've all had a chance to guess.
