I saw that car on ebay. It is wild! It doesn't look like a hack job but I have to wonder how well it handles and if there is adequate cooling for the engine. |

its probably great on the straight away, and would surprise the honda crowd,(and a few other crowds too for that matter!) but I doubt you could lay it into curves like a porsche(unless it was that bader ghia) but the porsche engine is sooo expensive, I mean you could build up a VW case (maybe a type 4) with that kind of HP easy without going through as much trouble to 'shoehorn" it in, but I like anything thats done tastefully |

Hey Gary, from the looks of the video.....he's having a little trouble on the straight away. Check him out on the way back...he just about puts in in the ditch.
That ghia is out of control...

yikes! I just watched the videos for the 1st time, all our cars will do that on the road here in northwest Indiana, in jan.and feb. - but thats because of "black ice"!! I think I'd wanna sell that ghia too, if it were mine, that is, after I took it out to play a little! (on dry pavement) |

At least he included the videos so you can see the normal driving style the car gets. |

That sure doesn't sound like any Porsche I've ever heard. More like an
American V8. :? |

I posted that stuff for him, and I have road in the car its awsome if he had racing gas in on the day I took the videos it would have stayed straight and would have burned rubber for as long as he kept his foot in it it handles very well in curves at high speed and runs cool to this engine was a 2.7 and ran like no other porsche I've been in. He sold the motor to someone after it ran on ebay for a few days but he still has the car and plans to put in a 901 5 speed and a vw engine and relist it.

What would the racing fuel have to do with the car going straight? Wouldn't that have to do with suspension setup or the pitch of the road? |

It looks like a terrible install, what's up with the flexible hose hanging carelessly under the back of the car? |
