All of a sudden, my signature quote does not appear in a quote box, as you'll see below. The coding is correct, it worked before and all of a sudden today it doesn't appear correctly. Only thing I can think of is that I went and changed my Avatar pic in my profile today, but didn't mess with my sig.

Any ideas?

I noticed Chickengeorge's doesn't work either. But mine still works...

Did you recently edit your signature?

If Ev made a change it might not take effect until you edit your signature.

I found that when he reduced the size from 250 to 200 characters.

Nope, didn't mess with my sig whatsoever. I noticed CG's changed like that and actually PM'd him about it and after he replied, I noticed mine didn't work anymore. Maybe it's him, maybe 'ol Birge has the signature plague or something.

I added the quote to my signature just the other night. I thought it was going to be too long with all the characters already in my sig, but it worked fine.
Maybe Ev decided he doesn't want to allow quotes in sigs anymore?

Only thing I did was change my avatar picture. It would be interesting to see if it happened to you if you changed your avatar, but then lidpainter would have to change his then as well. :lol:

the problem i noticed is that when you quote with a username, it works sometimes. if you quote with no username, it always works. i recently tried to add a quote to my signature and it failed to work. i've just been too lazy to post it here in the site forum.

I've had the same one for months and it just stopped working. I'm hoping it fixes itself without me doing anything. Much like my marriage.

Thie only place I've found that it doesn't work is in the sig box, not in the post. It's like BBCode gets disabled if you use the ="username" function.
