As if it isn't hard enough to see out the front windshield of a Ghia without a giant blind spot right at eye level :|
Are you kidding? sitting in a Ghia is like sitting in a fish bowl. There's glass all around you, and only 4 dinky little pillars holding the roof up. There are no blind spots at all.
I do agree that the engine is overkill. But the car looks great otherwise. |

That's creepy. It reminds me of the guy with double irises that I saw at the Ripley's museum in Niagra Falls when I was little. That guy's "double" eyes creeped me out, too :x ! |

All of the Ghias I've owned were verts. The verts have severe blind spots in the rear quarters, and the side windows are smaller. Maybe it's just me but I also have a hard time seeing over the passengers side front wing from the drivers seat. The chrome engine up front would make it impossible. I wouldn't mind seeing what it looks like from the drivers seat on this one |

Well, this isn't a vert.
And are you extremely short or something? Not being able to see over a Ghia fender sounds ridiculous. You'd have to be buried under the dashboard or something. |

| I'm not short but I do have an unusually stumpy torso (99% of my mass is appendages). And I only said I have a hard time seeing over it, not that I couldn't see over it at all |

Well, this is the first time I've ever heard anybody complain about the visibility in a karmann ghia. so it surprised me. |

It's all about perspective...
It might look like a bug, and possibly even drive like a normal bug, but would you ride it like a bug? :D

Pity, because I quite fancy the baja this is found in.
...and for that reason, the exterior isn't posted here. :D |
