Does anyone know what style of antennae is correct for the 53 model year for type 1?
I have seen some vintage rare pictures of original vw's in the 50's and some have a double mounted antennae, some have a single mounted one on the front quarter and some have a little one mounted on the side of the windshield.

| Since antennae's were dealer installed items, either the single- oer dbl- mounted versions would be correct. But the Dbl mount tends to look more vintage. A-Pillar mounted antennae's were introduced for the '67 model year. |
