My parents own a 99 passat and they called me and said their low beams, turn signals, and wipers do not work anymore.
high beams still work but i assume they are possibly on a different circuit.
has anyone out here encounter similar problems.
is their some kind of light module or ignition switch problem i can check?
thanks ahead of time for the expertise!!!

checked fuses and found they are all ok but no KL15 to about 9 fuse with key on.
removed igntion switch and found KL30 pin melted and cross short inside
switch. plug housing melted also.
replaced switch and replaced plug and pins.
everything works ok now. |
