Wow, the hard to find "Deluxe" tail lights. Notice the subtle difference from those used on Standards and Commercials. |

With this engine compartment and "Over $10,000 value" engine, tranny and brakes.
A little cleaning with a rag goes a long way.
Yeah, cleaning, proper air cleaner, distributor, carb, and some engine lid seals would really help here. Still not $39.5K, but at least put some effort in at that price.
I do have the original air cleaner all restored and it is included...but it sucks compared to the K&N Im using. The original distributor doesnt have enough total advance to get the power out of this engine. I do have one.
I wouldn't use a 40hp air cleaner on a 1600 either but I'm curious how you determine the K&N works better than an oil bath? |

Probably the same way he determined that using a 009 is the way to go to get "all the power" out of that engine. |

And the transaxle in that bus got me from NJ to Bullibrigade and back (after Andrew rolled the roadster, I bought the rear end). |

5 years later, I still have random people asking me "hey, whatever happened to that bus??"
And a tree fell on it and turned it into a parts bus, so why not cut the roof off? I bought the shell for cheap. After I slid into a ditch in it, it got used for donor metal to save a single cab that otherwise would have been parts, too. It was a shame that a tree fell on it, aside from the passenger rocker and the battery tray, that bus was stupidly solid. |

Just as a reference, here's a picture from before the roof got cut off.

Well, since it's been bid up to $30K, it must not suck as much as you think it does. |
