I can't see it going for that much but it looks pretty nice in the limited photos.

That door handle should not be in that position - something is wrong.

The clock looks like an earlier clock to me - no adjustment knob on the face?

I like 15 window buses, but do not have my finger on the pulse of the 15 window market. It seems high to me as well.
However, the ad is now inactive. Did it sell for 70K? I do not know.

Maybe the erect door handles in this bus are evening out the limp door handles on the other buses recently discussed.

body work on this bus look terrible, even from distance.Door handles are the least of its problems.

No whine about the price...but this bus was in similar condition 4-5 years ago, minus the front seat when my buddy shipped it from NY to UT and nobody's done more with it than this? That's sad for a bus like this...it does have weird rust in unusual places though...get a lot o' pics before & doublecheck the cargo door hinges, understand the gash down the drivers side rib & the rust on the ps roof...underside is sweet tho...

Went looked at the 63 single Today although the owner is change the ad somewhat since my visit it still doesn't reflect the true condition of this vehicle.

The engine that senates even though it says it was replaced this one will need to be other rebuilt or replaced itself it's missing some cooling tin and leaking oil like you wouldn't believe.

There's very little that is original on the bus the upholstery door cards door locks all have been modified or are missing

Very old respray horrible quality lots of Bondo painted over both rockers will be replace just covered and a quarter inch or more Amando

Front floor has holes in his real thin

Undercarriage and beam not in that bad of shape.

Definitely not worth anything close to 18 five my best guess would be between six and eight

Am glad my grammar is more your worry than someone getting ripped off.

My post was a dictation translated by Siri. She's no Einstein on many occasions.

So? Take a minute to read what you are about to post so it doesn't look like a cat walked across your keyboard.

My basic point is that a lack of punctuation, spelling and clarity of thought makes it more work for the regular reader. In that case, many people will just skip your post because it needs a translator. Why waste your time and effort with an unreadable post? If you are concerned about someone getting ripped off why not be as clear, concise and easy to read as possible?

And it looks like your efforts may have been in vain. The ad has been deleted.

Without paging through everything, are these buses really selling for these prices?

rarely does anyone find out the true price of what something was sold at unless the buyer or selling posts it

personally I don't know anyone who pays asking price so figure about 10-20% less then is probably what most sell at IMO

Yes and No.

It would be better to ask about a particular Bus ad if you have questions about value.

Seller says " dont waste my time " yet posts the add with no price, says best offer??? How do we know if we are wasting your time with our offer? :?

I guess best offer is better than, testing the waters, or this is a feeler add.

I guess best offer is better than, testing the waters, or this is a feeler add. I think this bus was found a few miles from me in Cramerton, NC.

I looked at it a few years back and thought it was a parts bus then; I guess it is considered saveable by today's standards though.

I think the "don't waste my time" statement turns alot of people off right away; I don't think I would bother responding unless it was something I really wanted bad.

"Best offer" statement translated into regular English simply means "I want as much money as possible from the sale."

Auctions belong on Ebay IMO.

There is a HUGE variety of busses, and a 'hierarchy' of values/rarity/desirability that is often lost on those who aren't familiar with them. I have heard more than a few people remark at the price of a particular bus, b/c they equate all buses equally.

Earlier today i think it was $4500.00, guess he took a double take of what he is trying to sell?

The next time I'm selling a Bus I think I'll put something to the effect of
"All emails and offers welcome, no one who contacts me is wasting my time and I will discuss anything you want about this Bus, even if you don't have the money, are not really interested, or just want to ask me some question about it because you own the same model or Buses in general."

Hmm, that is kind of long though...

Except no motorcycle trades because F you if you think I want your money pit or want to die.

I like talking VWs so I don't mind people asking anything they want to ask.

Motorcycles are too sketch for me.

I always find it odd when someone sells a business that is supposedly doing "great" and "making" lots of money
