Yes, the price is insane, but I question the origin also. Seems like these would have some sort of stamp from Westfalia or something. And VW buses don't need levelers. Just because they were in your bus, doesn't mean they were for you bus originally.

My old 15 window that I sold less than 5 years ago is on Ebay with tons of bogus information regarding the bus...not sure if current seller is making up stories, or if the person who sold it to him is making up stories...pretty sad either way... I sold the bus for $14,000. I've attached an image of the progress of the bus while I owned it...I patina'd the logos before selling it, they have been partially removed since being sold.

I'm withholding judgment on these until I hear Lind's ruling on the matter...

As a side note- his other ads border on unintelligible. I'm guessing what we see is his entire VW estate/involvement.

Maybe a westfalia trailer but not a westfalia camper.

I can't believe they took all the cool snowmobile logos off that 15 window, Chadly.

Trailers usually have the jacks integral with the body, but I have seen jacks like that before.

Pretty steep for a single cab... For that kind of money, I'd expect the frame repair welds to be ground down.

What is "extremely rare" about a 1966 single cab?

What is "extremely rare" about a 1966 single cab? The new owner, if they are willing to pay 30k for a 66 sc.

Before they painted it maybe they could have fixed the dent in the nose. And the rear bumper looks like a section is missing for exhaust clearance.

California plates, but listed as New Jersey, terms/description aren't right for what it is, and.... member is new as of today.... Hmmm

BulletBus Wed Sep 24, 2014 4:38 am

You can always tell a new guy or a scammer on here. They tend to describe what they have as if they are describing it to someone who has no clue. It's like they don't understand they are advertising on a site full of experts and/or very knowledgeable people. Most of us know what rare is or isn't when it comes to these things. But I guess you take your best shot..
