Who has possession?

Where is it located?

Is it being flipped and shilled by the original owner?

Is it on consignment?

Who should you contact if you're interested?

Does Everett allow this type of advertising?

Inquiring minds want to know  .

clearly not the same bus? one is an 11 window, the other a burnt out deluxe?

Yeah, you're correct not the same bus. Still don't understand why it's linked in the ad--that's what got me confused.

Okay, now I get it! The Colorado seller linked to the Carson bus as a comparison to get people to suggest a price! Not very well done, IMO.

I think the guy with the tree bus is trying to imply you can use his bus to fix the other bus. Or he thinks the price of the burnt bus should reflect his bus price. Something like that

Yes, this is confusing and who cares what some burnt up Bus is for sale for? I wouldn't pay $700 for the burnt up Bus so I guess I will keep that in mind. ;)

Do you think the neighbors enjoy having it out in the street? I hope he buys a cover, or they might torch it again!!

So looks like he has grafted on later corners... where is the engine going to get air for cooling.... Have to say the work looks pretty good considering what it was, still not a good idea.

A+for creativity. But does this mean Everett will have to start another forum for
"Splitays" ?

I don't know my bay windows well enough... but at least it might be ready for a Type IV engine. Good lord, that was a lot of work... to gain a little capital.

Maybe if he spent that time and money on his business that is so overextended and behind schedule he wouldn't be in such a jam. I bet there is more than one customer waiting for the panels he wasted building that abortion.

It is sad that so many good, decent guys become a victim of their own success. It takes a lot of hard work, dedication and talent to get into the fix that an awful lot of people get into. And then they reach the point where there is absolutely no way out and they crash and burn.

All I got to say about the Bay deluxe clone:

Damn, that is a lot of work. Anyone done any welding on buses knows the effort needed to make this happen. I applaud him for his craftmanship. I wish he would finish it so the baggers/naysayers wouldn't hit him so hard. No doubt he has serious metal skills.

I agree, at first when I saw that I though "what a waste" but upon looking more closely it's pretty impressive the work he's done and I would love to see it finished.

The problem is he owes people money, services, and parts. He is selling this to raise money for past debt? Think of the time and money he put into this that could have taken care of those debts. It is reasonable to wonder if he will pay anyone. Looks like a ponzi scheme going.

Really ?? $50,000 for a TORCHED 21 ???????

And for those who do not know, Clean N.H. paper work does not always mean a Title.........

Not realizing this was about 20 pages back, I started a new thread, but will continue here. This went for $24,600 on ebay.

Some have mentioned that the info from the M-Code Plate have this being a unique varient, but to what avail? Having a very good idea of what the Bus would cost to restore, with, or without the fire damage, what is the buyer going to do with this? Are there $24K worth of parts remaining on this? They're not going to make any money getting it restored to resell. Are they going to put the M-Code Plate on a 13 Window Clone of a Deluxe 21 Window? Anyone seriously looking into a 21 Window may want to keep the VIN# of 247037768 on file for future reference.

They are probably going to fix it up real quick for a flip and never tell anyone it was burned up.

This has happened before...

Oh dear. I've been doing it all wrong. Fixing up my Jan 56 bus stock, when I should have painted it yellow and put a Jetta motor and later lights on it.
