| SO anywho I'm wondering if my tranny might be a bit tougher then stock. Now I've never driven a VW before so I don't know how the stock feels. But anywho When shifting gears I can go from 1st to second with little to no clutch, 2nd to third with a tap of the clutch, and slides right from 3rd to 4th with no clutch super smooth. Now I don't know if this is the way all stock ones work... but this is the mystery mobile, which was sold to me, and I was told that it had a 1776 engine in it... which turned out to be a 1904... runnign on a 31 pict carb!... so hey you never know. |

| Sounds like you know where all the gears are and the rpm's needed to just slide it in. I can do the same thing with a little practice on mine and I do have the stock tranny. Little clutch with a good disc makes a lot of difference. |
