| Just make one it's not hard :D I did it in 1 day (5 hour's of work) really ! check my pic's in the samba gallery  take any split hood or any 55 & earlier hood and then a 64 & earlier decklid and drill out the locking peice section(of the decklid) and graft it into your hood but make sure it lines up with your front apron. Then file the correct hole size for the L-handle bezel where your hood handle goes. And then you got your KDF hood. Besides the person with the hood I needed wanted way tooo much. And all the other ones I've seen were trash and also out of my price range  But then again you might get lucky :D like I did with my 43 - 44 KDF decklid  Good Luck :D |

Why not use a stock rear L-handle? I thought they are the same?! :?
->Edit... Sorry I miss read the original question... I'm making a stock later fronthood into pre-49 look by only grafting in the hole and modifying the internal panel from a early decklid. |
