Where have you found short shockabsorbers for your split?

What make and partnumbers have you used?

I've been told by 5 Points Classic (Santa Ana, CA) to visit shops that specialize in Vintage Motorcycles parts.

The oldest I have seen are for a 53 at BFY Obsolete or at Wolfsburf West.

1953-65 are pretty much all the same. 1949-52 are pretty scarce, but Pre '48 are near impossible to find. Boge shocks are still being Hecho en Mexico, and that's what BFY & Wolfsburg West is stocking.

BBT list them in their catalogue.

I've heard that there are many shocks used on snowmobiles that are of a suitable length.
