Just wondering....
Would it be possible (or advisable) to run Type 3 intake manifolds with Kadron carbs on an upright 1600 DP engine?
I'm trying to lower the carbs and airfilters to gain clearance to run a convertible decklid with rain catcher on my '64 bug sedan. I'm almost sure it would make the one side clear....not sure about the other. I'd be willing to modify the rain catcher for clearance if need be. Any thoughts? |

| I've got a brand new set of DP shorty intakes if you need them, these were designed for the upright engine. PM me if interested. |
