Am I right in thinking that Crotch cooler bugs were made late 51 through 52 only?
Were all bugs made late 51 say June onwards crotch coolers?
Anyone?

Deluxe beetles after mid april had crotch coolers.
Standard beetles never had them. |

| Yes. I believe April 13th they added the crotch coolers and the door light switches at the same time. Then August 14th for the later style crotch cooler (#276-126) which ran until zwitter. Deluxes only. |

Heres a pic. Crotch coolers are very cool and its a shame they discontinued a very cool element of the early deluxes.
