Cleaning out my dad's garage, nearly done.

Most of the parts gone, one car left...this one comes with me :D .

We're in escrow on a little bit bigger house. It has a three car garage with a drive thru door on the third car part. I'm having a pad poured in the back yard to be able to make use of the drive thru. It's new construction so we have to wait until next month to move in. Garage is finished but not painted. I'm thinking garage floor paint and light gray(maybe two tone) walls with a big VW logo on the floor or wall.

My garage is taking shape:
few months back the 3d sketchup, and following few hundreds of hours later here it is in real:

The plan is to store my 3 vw`s in it:
-The 56 vert seating on the lift
-The lowlight seating below
-The Westy just behind

I hope to get it done by summer.

Rearranged the other day, now the Nissan is where the bug was and the bug is in the middle...

In California both of those white cars would be outside,
but in ND things are a bit different in the winter.

Damn! That'll be a little piece of heaven on earth.

Take progress shots and post up as it goes. Fun to watch.

Getting settled in the new pad. Has an extra deep 3 bay with a bathroom and the other 2 bay is extra deep and is in an "L" shape wrapped around the other garage for one more extra long bay. The L shaped garage has heat and air for working enjoyment!

I scrolled the several pages Now... What is everyone uding to paint their concrete floors? Anyone recommend good suggestion for painting/epoxy the floor of a garage? Right now mine has old paint on portions and none in other areas.
Thx for any ideas...

Dude! Clean, clean, clean. Prepping is the worst part. Dependent on how old your concrete is, mine was poured in the 60's after our house was built in 59 so it had years of stuff on it. Start to finish it took me about 3 weeks. Only 1 day of that was actually painting. If I had a new/fresh slab of concrete I'd do it myself. Otherwise, I'd pay to have the floor cleaned. I used the Quikrete one and love it. I've dropped hammers on it, body dolly's, air tools and even weld on it.
