I live most of the time in Ecuador and have been trying to find a way to support myself down there. I am not allowed to work there because of the class of VISA that I have so I usually come back here to the USA and work, save up money, then head back down.
I have noticed that there are a LOT of VW buses/dual cabs, etc down there so, i was thinking... wouldn't it be a good idea to buy them there (they would be VERY cheap), fix them up, then have them shipped to the USA and sell them?
Any opinions on that? Has anyone imported from South America to the USA? How does that work? What is a reliable company to use? What is the import taxes/registration process like? Please let me know. Thank you. |
