I got a 51 Split from him. I had my appendix blow out the week before we were supposed to do the exchange. David drove out of his way and dropped the car off at my house.

I've picked up a couple other parts from him. Never had a problem and communication was great.

I've bought, sold & traded with david over the year's. NEVER a problem and alway's got the parts as described :D I will alway's do business with david without a worry. Good luck :wink:

Bought a 56 vert rear glass with trim and he shipped it out fast and it was wrapped good. Good guy in my book.

I've bought a ton of split parts from him. He has went out of his way for me to save me money on shipping a few times.

Dave is a good buddy of mine, I bought a 52 CC split from him and have delt with him several times. One of the better VW guys I know.

bought a bumper for over 400$ as a first transaction. he kept good communication and packaged it very well. dont hesitate david is a good guy who does what he says

He has not sent the $500 that he owes me. I have to email him back again and try to get my money from him.

He has not been agressive or nasty with any correspondance, so I will also remain civil. I am still trying to work it out.

Just had a bad experience with David. I purchased a Cruiser Pedal from him on 6/27/08.

I tried to paypal him but he said he didn't have a paypal account. He wanted a postal Money order. I sent out the postal money order the next day. After a few days I sent him an email asking him if he received the M.O. He responded to me email afew days later saying he was out of town and didnt know if it had arrived. I sent him another e-mail afew days later and he responded that it was there at his house. He said he would mail it out. Ater about a week I still have not received the pedal. I sent him an email to verify that it was sent. He replied that it was mailed out. Here we are in August and still no pedal. He claims he mailed it but no proof has been given to me. I've been emailing him asking him what address he mailed it to, but he has not responded.. I didnt hesitate on sending him a postal money order because I have bought items from him in the past, but I guess he really needed my money!!

If I would have used paypal, I probably would have had my money back already.. No wonder he didnt want to use paypal..
