| Would anyone be able to tell me if seatbelts were standard equiptment on all 1965 Beetles sold in the U.S.? Thank you. |

no they were not. However, they were available as a dealer-installed option. The cars were manufactured with the holes aready pre-drilled to accomodate dealer installations

| The seat belts on my 65 were an $18 option. The drivers side outside rear view mirror was a $4.50 option. Thought you might want to know. |
