I want to buy an original Westy rack for my 1966 Westy. Here in Belgium I don't find anything.
How can I recognize a real original rack and what a the differences ?
Maybe someone has one for sale ?

OG Westy rack:
Early westfalia roof rack - note the square tubing for the 3 cross bows and the square mounting point where it sits in and over the rain gutters. This is the rack for 57-59 westfalias |

the reproductions are very close to the original style. all of the reproductions that I have seen are the later westy style. if it looks old, and it has the westy tags on one of the wood slats, then it is probably an original. |
