Does anyone know what it will take to put a 67 swingaxle bug tranny into a bay?
DO you need to narrow the torsion housing
I know the front mount is different but that can be made in sure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

| I have been very very happy with my full wagenswest set up on my bay. I would highly recommend them. |

| Sorry for a dumb question guys but when you say 'flipped spindles". Is that stock spindles? What is involved in flipping them? How low will it give you? |

You can only "flip" linkpin spindles. It's pretty much pressing them apart, and re-assembling them backwards so the spindle stub is 3 1/2" higher.
Balljoint bus dropped spindles are welded. Except for the company in Europe making new unwelded spindles. But that's $$$$ |

Sorry if this has been posted before but how much clearance should there be at the front and rear before chassis notching is required?
Cheers. :D |

For using adjusters on the front beam, is there a rule of thumb on how much turn will result in how much hight difference?
I'm trying to achieve a 1" raise, will a turn of 1/8" do the trick? |

I'm not sure what's going on, but my ride is all wonky and i haven't touched the suspension at all.
This was a barn find which sat for 18+ years down the street from me until I swooped in and "saved" her.
She's called Creamsicle right now but soon will be painted Kansas Beige… and will be called Sandy.
705 bias ply Lucas white walls
Check oiut that ride height!! ??

Nice find, what's the original paint? I'd keep it original if possible. |

That's Sierra Yellow as stock, which i'm not a fan of.
Kansas Beige is a stock color for 71, and as I'm not 100% all over the restore as stock scene, i do appreciate that look.
This is no show car, nor will it ever be. It's a daily driver and I've taken it up to 78mph recently, even on these tires.
Thanks! |

At the end of the day it's your car, and you do whatever you want to it, but my .02 would be to keep the color original. Whatever makes you happy man. |

| Paint it Sandy, the bumpers black, wheels and hub caps black, lower it, get some high tech radials. white walls are OK. 8) |

| can you push the bushings/bearings in and cut the end of the torsion tube on a ball joint beam like I have seen on the link pin beams to narrow it? |
