It's about time I got some picture out here of my '69. I bought the car last July and I plan to completely restore it. The only problem is lack of $$$. These pics aren't very recent, but the car basically looks the same. Thanks for looking.
Brown spots on hood = my repairs of surface rust
Running boards have since been replaced, and for some reason I took the side mirror off for this pic
Only update to interior since this shot is a new shift knob.
1500 w/ replaced case (I think) I've restored the carb pre-heater system.
At a show. |

| It looks pretty clean. If you are low on $ (ain't we all) at least stop the rust. Go and find it , sand thru, prime it, put a paint out of a rattle can if need be. At least you stop eating thru the metal. Good luck. |

I've stopped all the rust that I can. The floor pans will need replacing in the near future though. -Again that's where the lack of money comes into play.
I sould take up welding. |

Funny you should mention that, a coworker just finished taking a class offered by a local trade school (night class). And he got a lot of hands on experience. |

Interesting idea. I've also considered taking it to a high school that has a welding class so it gets done cheap. Though, I'm not sure how I feel having a bunch of students "learning" with my car. I want it done right. |

| Well, I do not think I would let them practice with my car  But if you have a chance to take a night class that would help. |
