If one was to come overseas from the states for a holiday this year, when would be the best time to come and attend the BEST show there

Ronnie...........if you like lowered / high performance stuff. Go to SPA in Belgium. If you like the real old stock stuff, hit Bad Camberg, Germany. Though there are tons of other meets in Germany that are low key to us Yanks but are full of cool old rare parts. It's up to you.

That's not this year, but in June 2007 :(

There's another show that you can hit, and that's the 19th VW nationals in France,
this year on May 27 & 28 at Thenay (near Tours)

During the summerholidays, there not many show's in Europe
May I sugest you also take a look at www.vwshows.info :wink:

Ronnie, may I suggest Spa in Belgium or Budel in Holland.

Spa:
Great rides
Good swap
Awesome location (F1 circuit)

Budel:
A 3 day RAVE!

Budel is a BAD ASS show! Very different from American shows. The party starts early Friday and ends late Sunday afternoon. I am definetly going there next year. It is held the weekend before Bad Camberg. The best part of Budel was being escorted by Herr Oskar Schindler.

Yes Ronnie. As far as I can remember, Budel is the weekend before. The same goes for the Hessisch Oldendorf event. It is a really cool event. Worth going to. Ask Noble, Lind or Mr. Barnes.

I might even come over for the classic first and travel back to Holland with you guys.

I would say a two week holiday, first go to Das Drag Day in Germany on the 16th/17th of August, and then drive to Spa for 3 days of fun !!
