Here are some pics of my '66, currently in hoodride status:

Specs:
engine: 1600dp, 12v conversion, quad tip exhaust
Tranny: Sachs clutch (now with correct pp), scat dragfast shifter
Susp: adjustable beam, 1 notch rear, 14" bus front wheel, 15" smoothies rear
Int: $5 ebay seatcovers, sunpro tach, custom cardboard radio blockoff
Ext: lots of dents and rust, og patina paint and some rustoleum, harbor freight horn:D
Plans: install t-bar bumpers, smoothie hubcaps,and stereo that are all sitting in my garage and then CRUISE 8)
I will probably replace the rusty heater channels and 1/4s and paint it at some point, but for now I'm having a blast cruising around town scraping everything... |

| before you go speding you cash on dropped spindles or anything else get all the holes in the tin plugged up. your fan is sucking hot exhaust air and blowing it on the heads/cylinders! |

Rides fine for me, no need to spend $200 on spindles. Got some plugs for the tin last night so you guys can shut up about it :P No idea what the light over the window is, doesn't work though.
Had some drama on the way home from work tonight, brake pedal went to the floor and I had to ebrake it and steer into the curb to avoid hitting someone :oops: Pedal was fine after that but it scared the crap outta me. Guess it needs more bleeding, I've already bled out almost 1/2 a bottle of fluid... |

what the heck is that on the decklid? Those 2 flat things? Too bad it wasnt completely OG green, I would roll it just like that OG paint.

Haha, I was wondering when someone was going to notice those. They are "custom" 6x9 speaker grilles, the PO had some interesting taste :lol:
I'm going to do some hand sanding to try and blend the rustoleum into the og paint a little, we'll see how it turns out |

| A lid should be easy to find in TX anyways. Then you can work on that rustoleum "blending" :wink: |
