G'day
I searched but couldnt find anything
My 65's front tyres hit the beam when i turn sharp. Is there any way to space the tyres outwards? Or do i need to get new tyres with a different backspace?
Thanks |

Is your car lowered (if so, how)? Do you have stock wheels? What size tires? |

My '64 did the same thing. It is all stock with 165/15 tires. I had the front end aligned after replacing tie rods and adjusting king pins. That took care of it. Good luck.

Ive got p215/65 R14 96H
Ive tried my dads P195/75 R14 95H but they still hit the car.
Its not lowered. Ive fairly recently bought it so dont know whats been changed on it. Its a baja so could be raised a little. Looks like it could maybe have a defferent beam on it.
I dont care that they rub, i just dont turn too hard, but the mechanic has listed it as a problem for a roadworthy |

The tires are way the hell too wide not to rub. Can you install stock wheels & tires & have it inspected then swap ? |
