I have had some wiring problems with my ’72 squareback. I was finishing up on some wires when I found another random wire. It goes from the center of the engine(see Pic1), it is in the harness with the wires for the F/I that go to the distribritor, cylinder temp sensor(see wireharness2), to the harness where it comes out from the fender on the driver side engine compartment(see wire22). Can some one help me figure out where these connectors are supposed to connect to?

You have an automatic. the one wire by the tranny dipstick is the wire from the ECU that goes to the front to control the fuel pump.

Shown in the bright spot in the center of the picture.
If I am reading the first picture right, that may be the wire for the aux. air regulator. It comes out of the main loom with the oil pressure switch wire.
I do notice that you are missing the kick down switch for the tranny. You can see it the above picture for my '71 FB automatic.

I know what wire your talking about, it comes out of the harness by the dip stick for the tranny. The wire I am confused about comes out of the harness in about the same location, but is in a loom with some other wires. The wires being the ones that go to the distribritor, Cyclender Temp Sensor. There is a 3rd wire in that loom that I don't know what it is for, it loops from there around twords the driver side and comes out of the loom by the driver side injectors.
