I bought this engine from an old airboat. The generator looks older than the engine (36 hp). Engine No. is 200912201. Is the crankpulley also older? The propeller drive is made of a cut open splitwindow gearbox.

I think you mean 20-0912201? This would be a Bus engine from November, 1954.
It looks like a Bus '54 engine with an earlier generator to me.
Except for the air cleaner, which is later. |

Yes, engine No. is 20-0912201.
The generator is stamped 4F next to the arrow. Is this the date code? |
