Around $300 restored and working.
I was watching that too, AM/FM Sapphire IIs usually go for around $200 on eBay. |

I think this was a good deal considering what people are trying to pass off in the classifieds here for alot more. I kept my eye on it as I'm after a DC but it went a little further than my pocket book will allow at the moment.
Sold for $10,988

| I was watching that too. Seemed like a good price to me, even with the damage. |

Repaired damage, read the auction text.
Quote: The exterior was repainted original color roughly 8 years ago at which time body damage to the rear passenger side was repaired with new metal. |

Rather than being the rear corner like the auction text suggests, the questions/answer section reads more like it was hit in the side... You can see what he's talking about in one of the pictures on the rear seat base. makes you wonder just how hard it was hit.
Quote: Q: Do you have anymore details on the body damage repair? What type of damage, and was it patch work or sealer/light bondo? Any close up photo's?
A: The way I understand the damage and repair from my uncle is that it was through the rear passenger door and some damage into the base under the rear seat. The body damage was professionally repaired at a body restoration shop. The metal under the rear seat was just straightened, not restored. It shows up in the picture. |
