Don't know why my link seemed to be pulled. But if I go to the Samba homepage then to the search box for classifieds and put in the ad #288875, the ad comes up. Just looking for opinions on the car and price since it is in Calif. Still hate to buy a car without looking at it but it certainly does look very good to me. Remember, I'm a 62 year old lady who will drive it only once in awhile on Sunday drives in the country. Thanks to anyone willing to go to the trouble of looking up the ad #.

That looks like a nice one, of course i would like to see it/drive it in person.................but it appears to have all the major stuff re-done.

It looks like a pretty nice car. To Nit-pic the front turn signals are not in the correct place (they should be several inches farther forward, they are currently in the 64-1/2 on location) which leads me to think the fenders may be aftermarket (OK if properly prepped and headlight bucket sealed to fender inside & out) or later model. The bumpers are also aftermarket and subject to rust just by sneezing on them so wax them WEEKLY.
None the less it is a nice looking car.

It looks nice, but before I'd drop that kind of coin, I'd spend the money to fly out and inspect the car or pay someone to inspect it for you.

It looks like Koch's VW Restoration did this project. I would call them and see if they can answer any questions you may have about the car. It looks like a pretty sweet car. They also advertise here on the samba.
