sent payment via bank cashiers check, he cashed it, ( have his banks copys of sign on check and account number) and he sent a email to ebay a week ago the tenth, stating the mail some times lets him down, , It's not much but hey, 55.00 bucks is 55.00 bucks and he won't return any emails , so buyer beware on ebay...handle is duckymex...

Sounds like an E-Bay problem rather than a Samba/VW problem. You should use E-bay's fraud reporting mechanism.

But, I'm asking because he may be known differently on samba, or some may know a way to contact him, he gets paid at a po box, so I can't knock on his door.

Have you filed a fraud report with E-Bay? The transaction at hand was not Samba related, so why are you posting problems about it here? You need to follow up with E-Bay's procedures. I never sell on E-Bay, but that's like going to an E-Bay forum asking about me because you've heard I sell parts. Apples and oranges, my friend.

This forum is primarily for Buyer/Seller feedback for Samba related transactions.

yup, almost two weeks ago it went into transaction dispute, his response was "give me till monday to check, sometimes the mail lets me down" there have been no other post since,of course I did that at ebay first, but will they get my $$$ back, will they get your. nope, oh the guy could get suspended, or a bad feedback, big f-ing deal...thats why I'm here is vw folks know and look after vw folks, *here, *ebay or *across the country, if there is a crook, best to alert every one, I wouldn't want some one to burn or rip you off, and if I lived down the street from the guy, I would pay a visit on your behalf... hence why I would like to track him down, maybe someone here has heard if him, family look after family, friends back up friends

If you can find a connection to his having dealings on The Samba, then it's relevent, otherwise it doesn't belong here. Sometimes a seller will list here and on eBay, then a warning is appreciated.

Fair enough, but what exactly were you buying? Was it parts for a Beetle, Ghia, Splitty Bus, Bay Bus, ......?

A few more details would be very helpful.

You can post stuff about non-Samba sellers.

For eBay problems, it's better to go through eBay but warnings are ok as a lot of people sell on both.
