Transaction took too long (20 days from payment to reciept) even though it was within California. The guy waited over two weeks to ship the stuff. Although it was nice stuff at a good price - the box was stinky and full of garbage (probably out of a trash can) and even included a spit up, chewed up candy! The other link to feedback for this seller (http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=189974&highlight=wiley14+verizon) says alot, too. Not to mention that the parts were advertised as 63 parts, but were actually 64 or later. I can't even use them! Neat!

Decide for yourself. I hated the wait and the stinky garbage used as packing materials. Plus it was the wrong stuff. Good luck!

Apoligies to all who's stuff was sent later than expected ,I have been able to get caught up and should be back to 3to4 day turn arounds .As for the above thread I would be more than willing to return your money but you have to let me know whats up ,Did you Email me about your problem ? Or did you just give me a bad thread because of another person who did get there parts but decided it took too long .As you said nice parts at a good price .

I paid for parts on 10/26, he said they would ship the next week. They didn't. He hasn't returned my emails, or answered paypal dispute. BEWARE OF THIS GUY!! I'm not the only one, it seems.

Gee, when I'd read he was back on track it was not true after all.
Go to Paypal and file a claim. This guy should be ostracized from the
VW world. I've done many deals through the Samba, and this is the first
time I've had problems. BEWARE OF THIS SELLER, HE'LL TAKE YOUR PAYMENT AND KEEP YOUR STUFF!!!!

look I know a couple of people are pissed at me right now and I am really really sorry for not getting back to you all but my computer took a complete dive and I finally got another one.I will be sending your stuff as soon as the holiday is over .It is only three items that havent been sent ,but I now what it is like to think your getting screwed IT SUCKS !

Seller sent an email saying my parts would ship last Monday.
Guess I'll wait and see. He's got new ads up, so CAVEAT EMPTOR!!

I wish I had read the feedbacks, and this will be to those that will read them before they order something from this seller. IF you are not in a hurry or oder things just because, this seller could be your perfect match. NOW, if you order parts because you need them, and TIME is IMPORTANT, this won't be a good seller. It's been 45 days for one part and 41 for the other and I have not received any of the parts. I just opened a claim with paypal and hopefully I will get an answer, my parts or my money back. So, this is my warning, hassle free, not with this seller...

Even after getting a new comp. same story.
Come on dude! How hard can it be? I bought
right AND left door handles from this guy, over a
month goes by, no contacts, then he sends a note
saying his computer died, and the stuff will ship.
Got the handles a week later, both left side, one nice
the other not so nice. Still would like a right, but I don't
want to wait another 6 weeks. Buy if you have A LOT OF TIME,
otherwise, look elsewhere.

I just bought a ragtop assy from Tom. Everything went very smooth and I recieved the parts In three days. Granted I am in nortern California and he is in so cal but this was right in the middle of the Christmas shipping rush! The parts were packedged good and were exactly as described. I also talked to tom on the phone for about a half hour and found him to be a true VW guy and very honest. I'm adding him to my watch list for more great deals, Thanks Tom! Chris. 8)

Just saw this posting. Purchased parts from him in October. I haven't gotten my parts yet!!! Has had my money since October, doesn't reply to emails.

Update: Parts received 1-12-07 (Better than late than never, its out to the garage tonight)

I buy alot from Tom and he is Always honest about the parts. He always has great prices. I'm sure theres a good reason for the delay. I hate the big parts that need a custom box made to ship it. I can say Toms is an Honest person and not ripping you off. Call him and talk to him about it I'm sure he will take care of it right away. Hey Tom call me when you find some more Rare VW parts.
