The only time Herbie's ever been on a trailer to go to a show. For some reason or another I don't have a pic of my tow truck.

They were filming a reunion episode of "CHiPs". I heard it was officer Baker who flipped the truck. He was distracted by Panch and the two girls with feathered hair riding shotgun. |

I was driving to work & this chick slammed in to me at a stop light. I just pulled my bus off after getting back from a show. 2 months later the trailer was stolen. |

| That trailer had some bad jubu. Better off without it. Was it a Diamondback? A buddy of mine has one just like it. The hitch broke at the welds while he was towing his rock crawler, tore the hell outta his truck. |

Sweet. Pulls like a fullsize, but the tranny is kinda stupid on the freeway under load. 100% better than my 04.....
Don't get the 6-speed unless gas milage is of no concern. And you don't mind an endlessly squeaking pedal.
If you're gonna leave it pretty much stock, don't go for the Sport package, get the functionality of the offroad package and the stiffer springs.
Couple things to look for at the dealership:
1) Open the glove box, and behind it there is the cabin air filter box. Make SURE they put a filter in it before you get it home.
2) In the glove box there should also be pigtail for a brake controller. This comes with the truck regardless of the towing option. Make sure they didn't gank it out to give to another customer.
All in all it's and awesome truck.. No complaints. But I've grown to expect that from my Toyotas..
You can see some more pics of my truck on www.stubbswelding.com ..

Duramax diesel tweaked a little backed by the BIG ASS Allison automatic.
Both Buses in that picture were loaded down too. The Vendo had all my swap stuff and the Kemperink had my "camping" gear. If you call sleeping in a parking lot before BYOB camping. |
