Hi, I have just recently been stationed in the Heidelberg Germany area and was hoping to meet some people with similar intrests, and I'm hoping to find a VW to play with. I have been out of the VW scene for a while but have owned and wrenched on many in the past. My wife and I travelled extesively in our 71 bus, I've owned a few beetles, and a 412 (god was that car fun). So if there are any others in Germany that want to talk or hang out drop me a line. Thanks, Kevin

Now that I am leaving someone posts here. I am down in K-town I leave in June though. As far as cars there is a 70's super in the base Junk Yard. It is not salvaged someone just PCSed or never got it registered. So they do a straight sale on it. Probably selling it for 500. There are a few bugs over here most are 80's models. I have an 83 that i am selling also a 90 Sciracco. If you go to Bitberg about 2 1/2 hours from you they have drag races with a few bugs that show up. They have the Das Drag day I believe in August which is pretty good, with bugs from all over. They even brought Clyde Berg out with car.
