With any luck it will look something like this one.

Yeah but if the person hadn't hoarded the bus,(a long with the rest of the hoarded goods), it would have been long ago crushed potentially. Nice score.

Remember there are people not even into buses that would kill for some of that useless hoarded stuff...

I've got a driveway of those myself. It seems to work as a reason to hang on to way more vehicles than I really need.

This was so easily spotted in a very small town off HWY 2 in WA, that i can't imagine it hasn't been found already, but as of a few months ago it was still there? I don't want it so i did not do any investigating more than just these few photos.

Early notch back as well

I posted that bus about 1 1/2 years ago, and it had already been found by several others at that point. I'm surprised that it's still there, but I guess nobody really wants it that bad.

the type three is a squareback.

BusterBrown Sat Apr 21, 2012 6:47 pm

Just because it's sitting in someone's yard, doesn't mean it's for sale.

If so many have seen it, and it's still there... imagine how many times the owner has been asked "is that bus for sale?"?

UZI Sat Apr 21, 2012 7:03 pm

ok, here are a few shots of the first bus to come out. this is the best one so don't go thinking i am holding out on anything...

rojito helping out with the rims and tires to get it home

it's a fairly decent bus. needs outer rockers, front floor patches and A-pillar to floor pieces.

i'm hoping he comes up with the front seats. it's an OG paint 65 walkthru with 98K. super nice headliner, interior panels have paint on them, spare time mount was hacked off. it has both sets of mounts for the middle seat. fairly straight, a could dents as shown. lower nose is good, battery tray is fine, roof is straight.

it's immediate future is trailbash beater.

Nice ass. I bet that paint looks sweet once it's washed/waxed.

UZI Sat Apr 21, 2012 7:52 pm

i'm gonna wash it down tomorrow. i think it will clean up nice. it's a late model that i probably paid too much for the individual bus but the sale of other 5 vehicles will make this one free.

it's the best bus i've found in quite a while.

What else did you get? I like those batch deals, too.

Nice work Gibbs. It's finding good stuff like that that probably helps funds all the bigger scores that you always seem to find. I wish i had the space to start doing that again...

cdennisg Sat Apr 21, 2012 8:39 pm

Are the other vehicles also VW?

zuggbug Sun Apr 22, 2012 5:15 am
