Take pics of the extraction...I always enjoy seeing the extraction process. What year/make/model muscle car? |

I found a bus over the weekend, guess its been sitting a long time. The guy who told me about it said last time he saw it was a couple years ago, well it is still sitting there. Here is a quick picture, hopefully me or my brother will get it soon.

Kind of miraculous that nobody hacked camper windows into it over the years. Nice. |

I wonder if painting it with what appears to be house paint actually saved the paint underneath. That looks like a cool bus! |

Speaking of hacking windows in :
I looked at this '65 today that Nate/ Jung Restoration told me about, I was sure it was another hacked Panel, not so, it was a 231 Kombi, you can see one of what should be 6 pop- outs after the left cargo door, it has a strange camper kit too, pretty rusty, probably make a good Jersey Looker 8) |

I think we talked about that bus a few pages back. It's not common to see the awning style camper windows that fit in the standard window openings. Most were the "hacked in" style installed into those unwanted panels on dealer lots. |

Upon closer inspection I have determined that you are correct, it is a Segaphone. However, I am not sure if the orange lens is correct for this model year, the birth certificate I have on order will hold the answers to these questions.

| Dear Sir or Madam, you may be correct. As I stated above I am eagerly awaiting my letter of authenticity (AKA Birth Certificate) from the VW Museum. |

| Thank you for the mink, Link.. I mean the link, Mink. I just sorted thru 644 pages and found it most informative, supportive and inspiring. I now have all the answer I was looking for, I'm going to cancel my order on that letter from the Museum. Oh, and it appears you and Slud were correct on the spelling. Thank you again now I'm off to drive my new bus around the world....backwards. |
