OK, It has been achieved, an outside the bus table bracket.
I took some ideas out of the old thread of the same subject, put them out on paper, gave the specs to an experienced welder (and fellow Bus person), who hooked it up!
The piece inserts (snuggly) into the jack point. It is very stable. We thought the jack point angle was going to be tricky, but he nailed it on the first try. Both the bracket and the foot piece have adjuster knobs like our Westy table legs do.
What do you think!?!?
Bracket - note the foot piece as well.
It's a tight, secure fit.
Installed
With table leg
With table:
Freddie approved!
Now I just have to refinish the table to match my interior. It will be very cool to have a 2 table set-up for camping. The table pictured is a spare that I pulled out of a junker.
Well...........Thoughts?????? :D |

| I like. Very clever. Where do you store the table tops while driving? |

Up in the pop-top behind the folded bunk. The tables and legs are up there. |

Awesome! But, I ask you, what do I do with my sidestep that hooks into the jackpoints?
Ok...now do a little folding seat too, instead of the tabletop! |

Full and empty please I need to know to see if it worth the effort to make one. If more than 24 empty let me know where you camp as I might find a table on the side of the road \:D/ |

Looks great! I think I posted the original thread with this photo:
The photo is not my bus, but it looks like mine. I found the pic on the web somewhere.
Your table brace looks awesome! What was the cost on it?

| I dont think it cost too much, since he had the 1 inch square tubing already. I'll check though. |

OK, this is what he said.....He can make them for $29.95 plus shipping if anyone is interested. He can also make them for splitty buses if you have one.
If anyone is interested, please let me know. |
