| I looked for a good source and found none, Painless is over priced and has way to much stuff in it for a buggy, you pay for heater/ AC, dome lights etc. I wired my own easily (about 2 days) from scratch. I went to local auto parts store and they have universal starter, headlight, and regular on/off switchs (wipers) I kept my gen/oil lights in the speedometer. If you want the diagram I can send one to you. I had less the 70 bucks in everything when I was done. When running lights I used the wiring kit for a trailer, the wires are bonded together and labeled. That makes it VERY easy to work on in the future |

| I did the bugpack wiring kit and sent it down the street to my local electric wiring shop . Sent a couple of pizzas down and week or so later it was back done . $200 plus bugpack cost including pizzas . |

I bought the bugpack harness kit and ended up scrapping the fusebox and redrawing the harness. It has taken me much longer than two days, but fishing the wire through my body was a bit of a chore.
The wire that came w/the kit was fairly useful and ,when compared w/buying individual packs of wire (Advance, Autozone, NAPA), it wasn't a terrible deal.
Good luck!! |

i am not sure what you guys have available down there, but we have what is called arctic flex wiring.stays flexable down to -40 f ) I figure if i am rewiring i might as well use the best. You can get it i 4 wire or 6 or 8 wire bundles. It's really not a bad set up.
