| Just got a buggy project and the pan was shortened but not quite enough about 2 to 3" any suggestions on how to cut it since I can't use the 14" you use when you do properly thanks and any help would be much appreciated thanks Mike. :D |

| If you already have the body you can use it as a template. Every body is different. Some you will cut 14", and others will be less or more. Set the body on the pan and use it to measure the remaining distance. |

| You could trade (or sell) the chassis out to someone who has an Empi Imp body. They were only shortened 12.5", if I remember correctly. |

is the Deserter. The Series One like mine was only shortened 10", which makes it handle much better on the road. The 14" Manx and clones have a 10%/90% weight distribution, which is great for wheelies in the dunes, but doesn't handle well on-road. The Deserter is closer to 30%/70%, so it has much better road stability. I've never heard of a body that is only shortened 2-3", though.
