Has anyone seen this manx clone for sale in the classified section? Is this worth what hes asking being that its unfinished and cant be driven? I would love to get it and save myself a lot of work but for 6500 seems bit steep, if it was between 4 and 5000 I would jump at it.

Thanks

It's got a ton of work done already....but $6500 for an unfinished buggy is a might 'over the top' IMO.

Agreed. I sold mine for $5500 a few weekends ago, and thought that was a GRIP!

Way too much money, in my opinion. Especially, considering you can buy a body a new body and chassis for about half that much!

I dunno - looking at what all that I have put in mine.......it may be a little high - but not too much - might want to offer $5K and see if he bites

On the breakdown certain things look almost appropriate. That motor probably is worth the $2600 (depending on build quality). The frame? Well if you had to pay someone to do it it may be. Would I pay that much? Nope, no way. I will have alot less then that in my original manx when I am totally done. Certainly not a bargain.

I agree with you 100%; it's got probably that much in it, but being unfinished always hurts a car's value when the time to sell comes around.
I also agree it's no bargain....including the $3500 I paid for it 5 or 6 years ago, I've got no more than $5K in my original Manx altogether.
