I hear he's abandoning VWs and getting a Jeep :(

You can take a man out of a VW, but you can't take the VW out of a man. I am sure he will build another one.

Once you're into VW's, you can never get out.

The buggy was a blast, but just didn't go well with the family at the time. I've got 2 boys, ages 3 and 1. I really had no way to secure them in the back seat safely, my buggy wasn't very family friendly.

So, it was time for a change. I've always wanted a Jeep, so has the missus.

I WILL build another buggy.

Still got the rail, and the 2180cc will be going into it as soon as I can find a tranny.

JEEP is that one of those things with the motor on top of the front wheels? Hmm

Heard a Mitsubishi commercial say JEEP = "Just Empty Every Pocket"

Bajas have rear seats. :P

It's your fault I sold the buggy anyway, Chuck. After riding in yours, I knew mine would just be second rate.

It's like riding in a tiny little yellow Cadillac, with a smiley bumper.

Next time, I start with a Berrien Chassis.

Mine has Ford suspension. :D

Before you build one let me know, I think I would do some things a little different. I wonder how many one has to build before it's perfected.
