Going up 4.5 cents/L at midnight and went up 3 cents late last week. That 8 cents /L = that's up more than 30 cents per Gal in less than a week.
There was a commentary on the news tonite that ONE supplier supplies all of Southern Ontario and he can set the price where he wants because people will pay it and Government won't complain as they'll get increased taxes. Also commented that the major Oil Companies get $$$$ from their refinering plus now they say too bad we are going to make more $$$ at the fuel pumps too.
This, days after the Federal & Provincial Budgets came down hard on cutting jobs in public sector, and freezing wages in all public sectors jobs and a few other bad bullets to the people.
They say it will peak out between $1.47 to $1.49 /L = $5.65 US Gal. |
