If all goes according to plan I should be painting my buggy this weekend. Tomorrow will be sand and prime, sunday is paint day. The running gear is all done. After paint it's wiring and interior.
My goal is to be ready for the Litchfield Bug-In on Fathers day. Might be tight but I'll do my best. Here's a picture of where I'm at right now. My new Tri-Mil Bobtail exhaust came today. Once that's on I'll be driving the chassis around the neighborhood.
BTW, does anyone know where I can get the trim/gasket for the bottom of the windshield?

| I'm using PPG base/clear. The color is 2005 Jeep Wrangler Electric Lime Green. The painting is delayed a few days due to gas filler issues with my new gas tank. I don't want to paint if I have to move the filler hole. |

Even though I didn't get it painted this weekend, I did reach a big milestone. Today I put on my new header and started the motor for the first time. After swapping two plug wires that I had crossed it started right up and purrs like a kitten.
Now....on to the body! |
