Dude, I'm not sure if you are aware but Kenny has some serious problems in his family right now. I know he's having a tough time of it. I'm also waiting on some parts he's been kind enough to source for me after Steve Houston of Serranos robbed me of.
Times like this its best to be understanding and a little patient. Look at his previous feedback, he's a top guy, I'm sure he'll be back in touch soon ;)

| Yeah I talked to Ken to today and I wanted to let people know from my prespective that he is going through a tough time with a member of his family having serious health concerns. Im sure that he will be back strong so a little compassion is in order. My two cents! |

| As far as feedback for Churning gears without going into all the many reasons and sounding like a total hater i would give him a "ZERO" Had no luck with him at all. Way to many reasons for poor service. He is a very nice guy to talk to on the phone but in the end I would never recomend him for any transaxle rebuild. |

You can't please everyone!! Lets just hope this judgement of yours about Kenny's business manner was made before say the past two very difficult months Kenny has had. If not I think you are being VERY unfair.
When my engine was being built by Serranos and I heard nothing for two months, Kenny rang up on my behalf on serveral occasions, was even going to pop round and have a word and sort it out. He then dropped my trans off at Serranos so trans and engine could be shipped together to save me some dollar.
Top guy, goes far beyond what most people would to look after his customers.
Pay me later for the 'big up', Ken  |

If you had a problem, you should have addressed it with me.
Checking all your posts, you seem to be having a lot of fun with those wheelies in the sand and on the track!

Ken I did address it with you. Many many times. I am the guy who you had the gussets welded in the wrong place. You had them welded in for a mid engine but set up the r&p for a rear engine. You also intstalled a bad reverse gear. Said the trans had shipped to colorado, shipping droped it on its nose and broke the nose cone. 1st trans lasted maybe 75 miles. You put in a braziain r&p to go with a 2180 turbo motor that will see the track??? 2nd trans you built had stripped bolts, loose bolts, cussets welded in the wrong place, incorrect reverse gear( you said you thought you had got rid of the bad batch of reverse gears you had)
No way would I send this trans back to you again. I feel I had to fight to get the trans built the way I wanted it the 2nd time. The first time I left it up to you.
The wheelies at the track had my old 12 year old trans in it not one you had built. It had about 50 passes on it and 2 weekends at the dunes. Your 1st trans lasted 1 day at the dunes. The 2nd trans has a bad reverse gear, gussets on top not on the bottom, stripped bolts. |

Ken,
Not sure if your getting my e-mails as I keep sending them to you but without reply. If you could just send the exhaust, coil, j tubes and a check for the value of the dizzy asap that'd be great! Really want to get this thing running before the years out!
Look forward to hearing from you,

I think for now, I'm going to pull my ad's and comments from the forum until i get through my family issue.
Right now, this forum will only breed negative comments until we get caught up.

jtcmac7 wrote: Im chiming in here to voice my opinion,When I first met Kenny he seemed to be a stand up guy .He was just getting started and I had a line bore bar set up for sale on samba .I dont live to far from him and after several people on samba wanted to buy it I decided to sell it to him to help with his "buissness".We talked about it a few minutes and came to an agreement that I would sell it to him and in turn he would buy all the core tranys I come across ..Now I was going to sell him type I cores for $50 bucks each .and that is way less than what I get elsewhere so I was also giving him a smokin deal in that department .
I have had at least 40 cores in the last year and have called him many times to let him know .as of today he has bought one 091 trany from me and one GRB trany. He has said many times that he was on his way over to get them and never shows ,not even a call back ,recently I posted some stuff here on Samba that he called me at home siad he wanted it was on his way over again only to never come or call .
I personally think he over stated here on Samba about his hand injury ,I saw it ,a couple of stitches and a mashed thumb nail ,I have had way worse and continued to work the same day.
He has lied to me several times and I will never do buissness with him again
There is alot more to this that I wont get into .I guess the point I am getting to here is He cannot be trusted on his word .
Thanks Kenny for all your Bull sht
Tom
Dude, I dont know what your issues are but from what I can tell you use the Samba only for bashing others in the feedback section. Out of 58 posts only one post by you in a section other then feedback. I have never met Ken or you but from what it appears here on the Samba your an angry guy who has nothing to offer to the Samba other than profanity and complaints. IMO |
