so my friend just warped the head on his 78 rabbit (with what i believe is the 86-87 git 1.8L, 8v engine... engine code RD) i have no idea where to find a replacement head. could someone tell me what heads a can use to replace with. i know it has to be 1.8L heads. but what else do i need to know. could i use any 1.8L 8v head. or what specific year can a look for?

any one have one they want to get rid of?

Any one of the NONE CROSSFLOW 1.8 liter heads would work. For that matter a crossflow head would bolt up and operate, but not function with the intake and exhaust manifolds in the same place. I actually have a spare head, used but good, and I'm getting rid of all of my A2 stuff. So if you're interested let me know, I'll make you a deal.
