I wondered if there were any members for the upper midwest out there. Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois?
I'm from Waterloo- Cedar Falls, Iowa. I saw my first 356 Porsche back when I was about 14. That would have been 1963. I later worked for the guy that owned it. It was a 1951 coupe, serial number 11101. Last I heard of it it was in the St. Croix, Minnesota area.
Anybody know its wherabouts?

No. This was back in the mid 1960's. It belonged to Jerry RuLon. He had a small shop in Cedar Falls, IA that I worked at in 1966. Later he became a regional rep for Saab Scania.
Tom Bruch had a 1956 Carrera GS Speedster. Tom was kind of my mentor back then. I spent a lot of hours on the phone bothering him!
