I have to change the clutch on my 83 Rabbit (gas not diesel, 4 speed manual). I did this once before in 1990.
The clutch parts were relatively easy to find - but I am having an incredibly difficult time locating a new 200mm flywheel - all the flywheels offered on the internet sites are 210mm - and those are for Rabbits from 1984 onwards.
Can any one help? Many thanks. |

I say use the later flywheel and clutch assembly....it will likely be cheaper in the long run, as the 210mm version is more plentiful. As long as you use the compatible flywheel and clutch, you should be home free. 8)
