Man, there are lots of 80's retro cars here lately. One piece windows, 8 spokes, brings me back again to the early 80's! Car looks good. |

I take it you don't have an 80's car that you are trying to un-fuck, You would not be so chipper. |

When I bought my '67, it had been in storage for several years. The paint, dechroming and one piece windows were already done. It had chrome wheels then. I put the eight spokes (cheap) on and also a 2 inch narrowed CB beam with dropped spindles and disk brakes. I also put in a 1641 with stock internals. In short, the eighties look was done in the eighties, and I kind of like the look.

Since Emersonbiggins is out driving around in the Badlands of South Dakota and looking for Mt. Rushmore this weekend I will post his 67 with sliding ragtop, convert decklid and steel sprintstars for him.

HA! Nope, I already bought that ground. I had three different bugs in the early 80's that had the full Cal-look treatment (I lived in S.California then). R.I.P to both of those cars as one was side swipped by a boat with wheels and the other rolled down a cliff and was driven afterwards but did not survive too much longer. |
