My '67 stocker. The PO bought it new in Tampa and always kept it garaged. It came with original key, book w/service stamps and a running list of everything the guy spent money on. I've had it just over 3 years now and it is a super little car :D !

My old 67
Never did get to finish it.
A few weeks after this someone smashed one of the front wings and drove off, fixed that.
Week or so after that someone jumped on the bonnet and ruined it. Replaced that.
Week after that someone kicked the doors in, bought more doors but didnt fit them.
Week or two after that someone caved the WHOLE roof in, about 8" lower than it should be in the middle!!, jumped on the bonnet again caving that in. I fixed that, got the whole car in primer.
The very next night the roof got caved in again, jumped up and down on the bonnet, kicked the doors in and the rear quaters and smashed the drivers side window.
By this point the roof was too far gone, so i broke the car for bits and sold the shell. It still lives, someone fitted a rag sunroof too it, good luck to em, i loved that car.
Moral of the story, dont own crappy looking VW's in an essex town unless you have a garage. |
